Apart from the individuals who present their own smooth jazz programs, there are a number of announcers who present programs between 6am and 9am and from 12 noon to 4pm Monday to Friday which feature smooth jazz.
ALAN WILLIAMSON is a long-standing daytime Sound of Style announcer. Alan holds a PhD and was formerly a University Lecturer. He had experiencein radio and television before coming to 2CCR. Alan retired from the Board of management in August 2006. Alan has trained a number of announcers and has participated in the various festivals, parades etc. that the station enters. He was heard on Fridays between 12 noon and 4pm. Alan is taking a breakfrom radio at the moment.
DAVID HOUGHTON works in the security field and can be heard on Wednesday mornings 9am-12 noon. David was a Board member until he retired in August 2006 and has trained other announcers. He has taken part in most station activities.
RAYJEANA PRINGLE does the Thursday morning shift from 10am-12 noon.
She was a Board member until her retirement in August 2006. Rayjeana took part in many of the station promotions.
CHARLES AGIUS presents a mix of music between 9am and 12 noon on Fridays. Included are a number of smooth jazz tracks.
JOHN LEARY (also known as JD) includes smooth jazz tracks in his program which can be heard from 9am until 12 noon on Mondays.
RASHEEN RAMCHANDANI was born of Indian heritage in the Philippines. She lived in Hong Kong for a while and undertook university studies in Manila. She met her husband, also an Indian, in Manila. They came to Australia on their honeymoon anddecided to stay. They have lived here now for 11 years and run an import business. They have two children at school. They both have a love of jazz music and have been long-time listeners of 2CCR-FM before Rasheen took the plunge into announcing.Catch her on Thursdays from 2-4pm.
TONY JENKINS presents breakfast each Tuesday 6am-9am and includes smooth jazz tracks in his playlist.
ROSS FEAR includes smooth jazz tracks in his breakfast shift from 6am to 9am each Wednesday.
ANDREW HARRISON presents breakfast on Thursdays and Fridays 6am to 9am. He plays some smooth jazz tracks.
GREG HILL presents the afternoon shift on Thursdays from 12 noon until 2pm. He includes some smooth jazz music.
