In 1992 Sydney Community Radio Station 2CCR-FM the Sound of Style 90.5 started to broadcast smooth jazz music. Its popularity increased and it was played from 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday and from midnight to 6am daily. From 1993 to 2006 this format was adopted by successive Boards of management under the leadership of Chairman Graham Johnson. In August 2006 Graham stood down as Chairman and the remainder of the Board did likewise. A new Board took over the station and has altered the musical direction of the station. This page has been created to link the various smooth jazz elements of the station and to provide a focus on the format.
