The smooth jazz announcers at 2CCR-FM have supported many community festivals and events. Here are just some of the photos.

OUTSIDE BROADCAST VAN

In the past we have hired an outside broadcast van to entertain people attending the community events at which we participate. Shown are Graham Johnson with Larry Price at the controls.

THE BLACKTOWN FESTIVAL

We had several model T Fords decorated in our colourful 2CCR-FM balloons. There were many thousands of people watching the parade. Driving the front Ford was Paul T. Wood with Miles Harris riding on the running board.

CUMBERLAND STATE FOREST

We  attended festivals at this site for some years playing our smooth jazz music. It is always fun to meet some of our listeners here and to see the people gathering around to hear our music. Pictured are some of our regular participants - Tony Concha, Helena Johnson, Graham Johnson and Christine Concha.

HOLROYD FESTIVAL PARADE

We   participated in the Holroyd Festival Parade for over 13 years. L-R Paul T. Wood, Helena Johnson, Graham Johnson, Eddie Gallier & Alan Williamson in front of the "Eddie-Mobile", our moving music machine.

ORANGE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

For some years the Orange Blossom Festival Parade was held in Castle Hill during the day but Baulkham Hills Shire Council switched it to being a night-time event. Many thousands of people line the streets and cheer on the various floats etc. 2CCR-FM has always been welcomed at these events. Pictured from left, Paul T. Wood, Helena Johnson, Alan Williamson and Eddie Gallier.

NIGHT PARADE

At Orange Blossom Festival. From left, Eddie Gallier in the "Eddie Mobile" in the background, Neil Gall, State Emergency Service parade controller [ a long time fan of the Sound of Style smooth jazz format] and station manager Helena Johnson giving Neil some instructions! Driving the model T Ford, our own Paul T. Wood.
